President Trump delivered a wide-ranging State of the Union address Tuesday night that went an hour and 21 minutes. That's the third-longest ever.
Here's how Hoosier lawmakers are responding to the address.

Rep. Jackie Walorski (R) praised Trump in a series of Tweets during the address, saying Hoosiers have more job opportunities and higher wages because of tax cuts.
. @POTUS is right: we must fix our immigration system and secure our borders. I hope my colleagues on the other side of the aisle will support commonsense border security measures. #SOTU — Jackie Walorski (@RepWalorski) February 6, 2019
Rep. Andre Carson (D) called much of the address a "road map for [Trump's] divisive agenda."
Too much of the #SOTU was a roadmap for @realDonaldTrump 's divisive agenda. It pushed fighting imagined threats over creating opportunity for all. I hope we can rise above & work on policies that move our country forward, like infrastructure, medical research & national security. — André Carson (@RepAndreCarson) February 6, 2019

Rep. Larry Bucshon (R) said government must unify to "prioritize the safety and security of the American people" by securing the southern border. He stopped short of expressing support for a physical wall in his tweets Tuesday night.
The fact that Speaker Pelosi didn’t stand and applaud with Republicans and a few Democrats when President Trump said the U.S. will never be a socialist country is very telling. Shocking really. — Larry Bucshon, MD (@RepLarryBucshon) February 6, 2019
Rep. Trey Hollingsworth (R) and Rep. Jim Baird (R) have not spoken publicly about the address.
