Arrest Numbers From The Gathering Of The Juggalos

Indiana State Police say they arrested 100 people at this past weekend’s Gathering of the Juggalos in Lawrence County and issued more than 100 traffic tickets and gave just shy of 300 traffic warnings.

The majority of the arrests were for drug possession. Police say they seized marijuana, THC vape pens, LSD, cocaine, pills, heroin, methamphetamine and laughing gas.

Besides drug arrests, police say there were no other major incidents at the four-day music festival.

The group is known for its rowdy behavior and has encountered trouble with law enforcement in the past; the FBI labeled them as a “loosely organized hybrid gang.”

Juggalos are loyal fans of the hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse, which is most notable for covering their faces with clown makeup. Many of the fans adorn their faces with clown makeup as well.

Indiana State Police Statistics:

  • Traffic Warnings Issued - 295

  • Criminal Arrests - 79
  • Felony Arrests - 19
