Presidential hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will attend Indiana's GOP dinner Thursday night, and will meet privately with Pence at the Governor's Residence prior to the event. Pence also met with Donald Trump during his visit Wednesday.
Pence has said he is willing to meet with all three Republican presidential candidates when they visit the Hoosier state.
Indiana's Republican Party says it extended invitations to the GOP dinner to all of the Republican presidential candidates.
"We are honored that Sen. Ted Cruz has accepted the invitation," Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell said in a statement. "This election cycle has put Indiana in a historic spot and we are ready for an exciting year."
Cruz will join Gov. Mike Pence and Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin as a special guest at the April 21 event in Indianapolis.
