It was Indiana's first ever trip to Georgia Tech, after denying to host the opening round of the tournament due to Spring Break, according to a statement on the IU website.

Leading scorers for the Hoosiers (18-16) included Juwan Morgan with 14, Thomas Bryant adding 13, James Blackmon Jr. with 11, and Josh Newkirk scoring 10 points.

Georgia Tech will go on to play in the second round later this week against Georgia or Belmont.
