Bikers Flood Lawrence County For ABATE Boogie

Thousands of Bikers are flocking to Springville, Indiana this weekend for the 38 th annual ABATE Boogie.

The event draws motorcyclists from all over the country for a weekend of camping, live music, and several contests.

Organizer Jay Jackson says that even if you don’t participate in any events, the Boogie offers plenty of entertainment.

"People watching, just finding out who’s here what they’re all about and what makes them tick and why they are having a good time," he says. "It’s a fascinating event, it’s just a cultural melting pot if you will."

The three day event ends Saturday night with a performance by country music duo Montgomery Gentry.
