Some of the traffic patterns and access points on State Road 37 are changing Saturday.
Construction crews are planning to remove the traffic crossover at Bryant Creek, directing northbound traffic to the newly paved northbound lanes that will be part of I-69.
A press release from the Indiana Department of Transportation says northbound and southbound traffic on SR 37 will continue in a single lane.
The new traffic flow allows the northbound on and off ramps at the Liberty Church interchange to open. The southbound ramps are still under construction and are supposed to open mid-August.
Turkey Track West and Paragon Road access points will remain open so residents have access to southbound SR 37.
Section 5 construction of I-69 through Bloomington is scheduled to be complete by the end of August. That’s nearly two years behind schedule.
