Forecasters at the National Weather Service are predicting that severe storms will affect central Indiana over the next few days.
A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Primary threats include: a few tornadoes likely, widespread large hail to 2.5 inches in diameter and widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph.
Friday afternoon thunderstorms produced half inch hail in Jennings County and 1.75 inch hail near Crothersville in Jackson County.
