Perfect North Slopes ski resort in Lawrenceburg will open its doors this Friday, Nov. 15.
The post says it's the earliest opening weekend in the resort's history.
The slopes will be open for skiing and snowboarding from noon to 9:30 p.m. on the opening day. On Saturday and Sunday, hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Snow tubing will not be offered.
Because of the early opening date, slopes will only be open on weekends until there is consistently colder weather and "more snowmaking opportunities."
The Perfect North website says the company is offering several perks for season passholders during the opening weekend.
A representative from Paoli Peaks says the resort will open in mid-December, weather permitting.
Last year warm weather delayed the ski resort's opening.
