Nashville’s Hard Truth Distilling Co. is partnering with men’s a capella group Straight No Chaser to release a new vodka as part of the singing group’s The Open Bar Tour.
Hard Truth Distilling Co. was founded in 2015 and is part of the company that also owns Big Woods restaurants and Quaff ON! Brewing Co. in southern Indiana.
In July 2018, the company opened Hard Truth Hills, a welcome center, restaurant and bar in Nashville.
According to a news release, Hard Truth Straight No Chaser Vodka is available at all Big Woods restaurants and some liquor and grocery stores around the state. It says the liquor is made with water from Brown County’s bedrock aquifers.
Straight No Chaser got its start as a student singing group at Indiana University-Bloomington, with the founding members graduating in IU’s class of 1999. The group’s newest and seventh album, One Shot, features 16 songs and 10 conversational interludes.
Straight No Chaser will perform at the IU Auditorium Friday. Tickets are no longer available online, but may be available for purchase at the box office.
