Sunday the state confirmed two additional cases of coronavirus. That brings the total number of confirmed positive cases in Indiana to three.

The latest cases are an adult and a child in Hendricks County.
According to a message on the Avon Community School Corporation's site, the health department received a positive result late last night and notified the district. The district will have an e-learning day today. The State Health Commissioner and Hendricks County Health Department recommends Hickory Elementary School to close for two weeks until March 20
And the other case out of Hendricks County was an adult who traveled to Boston last month to attend a meeting of the biotech firm Biogen and developed mild flu-like symptoms days later.
The Indiana State Department of Health said yesterday that the adult is in isolation and not being hospitalized. State officials say several COVID-19 cases have been tied to the Boston meeting, including a Marion County resident identified Friday as Indiana's first case. State officials say infection control protocols are being followed.
