The Big Ten Conference is canceling all events of the 2019-20 athletic season including the men’s basketball tournament. A statement issued Thursday says conference officials are working with medical experts and institutional leadership to determine the next steps concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes all IU-affiliated conference and non-conference athletic competitions as well as the IU football spring game.
The conference also announced a moratorium on all on and off-campus recruiting activities.
Refunds are being offered through the IU ticket office for the men’s Big Ten tournament and IU baseball games.
According to its Twitter account, Little 500 time trials, track practices and the Miss N Out are canceled. Qualifications have been rescheduled for April 11th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Indiana High School Athletic Association Commissioner Bobby Cox announced boys basketball regional games on Saturday will be played before limited audiences, with each receiving no more than 75 admissions.
