The resolution passed unanimously, with the goal of balancing socioeconomic status among elementary schools.

The Monroe County Community School Corporation is setting up locations where parents can pick up free breakfast and lunch meals for students, according to a news release

Pickup at each school will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday while schools are closed. Meals do not need to be picked up at a child's specific school, but parents will be asked to provide the name and school of each child.
