Gathering Of The Juggalos Canceled Due To COVID-19

The 21st annual Gathering of the Juggalos, set to be held this summer in Garretsville, Ohio, has been canceled due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus.

The music festival brings together fans of the rap group Insane Clown Posse every year in a different location.

A statement on Insane Clown Posse's Facebook page says the decision was made in conjunction with the owners of Nelson Ledge Quarry Park, where the event was supposed to take place.

Last year's Gathering was held in Indiana's Lawrence County and drew a crowd of thousands. Indiana State Police said they arrested more than 100 people at the 2019 Gathering, mostly on drug possession charges.

And in August, an Ohio man sued the organizers of the event, saying negligence by the organizers led to another event attendee hitting him with a golf cart.
