City spokesperson Yael Ksander says an internal working group is still evaluating this year's parade, but no recommendations have been made.

A memo sent from a parks department coordinator Tuesday afternoon indicated the city officially canceled the parade "due to the current public health situation."

Ksander says more information will become available about the parade and other summer programming.

The Taste of Bloomington and other festivals have been canceled as officials grapple with how to loosen restrictions without spiking infection numbers.
