Road construction begins this week on State Road 45 between I-69 in Bloomington to State Road 445. The asphalt resurfacing project spans Monroe and Greene counties west of Bloomington.
Patching, milling, and paving starts Wednesday and be finished in August. Motorists will be routed through lane closures by flagging.
Indiana transportation officials awarded the $2.7 million project to E&B Paving Inc. in February.
