Numbers specific to IU South Central Region Hospitals -  IU Health Morgan, Bloomington, Bedford and Paoli all make up the South Central Region for IU Health

At IU Health’s South Central Region Hospitals, 6 confirmed cases are being treated for COVID-19. An additional 32 people are waiting on test results. This totals 38 people currently being treated at the South Central Region Hospitals. This is down from last week's total, which was 19.

118 people have been discharged from IU Health’s South Central Region Hospitals.

Of the 707 South Central Region staff members who have been tested, 66 of those tests were positive. There are 3,800 staff at the IU South Central Region Hospitals.

So far, 729 staff have been quarantined and 713 have returned to work.

IU Health says if a staff member shows symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they are asked to temporarily self-isolate. Then, they are screened through the IU Health's virtual clinic to determine if they meet criteria for a COVID-19 test. If the staff member's test result is negative, they touch base through the virtual clinic again and can return to work after 24 hours without fever and without use of medication. If a staff member tests positive for the virus, they abstain from work for a minimum of a week, starting when symptoms began to 72 hours after being symptom-free.
