Engine manufacturer Cummins expanded its operations in Indianapolis Thursday.
The company unveiled its new, nine-story distribution headquarters in downtown Indianapolis, on the former site of Market Square Arena. The building can house up to 450 employees.
"I've often said during this year of service, every day is a good day," says Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. "Some are just better than others, and today is a great day for the city of Indianapolis."
The downtown location allows Cummins easy access to its distributors because of its proximity to the interstate and airport. The building includes retail space on the first floor.
