Hoosiers Stunned By Loss To IPFW

IFPW has pulled off the biggest upset in school history, doing it against a neighbor.

Bryson Scott scored 18 points and John Konchar drained a go-ahead free throw with 1:19 left in overtime as the Mastodons stunned third-ranked Indiana, 71-68. Konchar also picked off an inbounds pass with less than three seconds left to secure the stunning victory.

IFPW had lost all nine previous games against ranked teams since making the move to Division I in 2001-02. The Mastodons trailed the Hoosiers for just 90 seconds and dropped Indiana to 3-1.

Thomas Bryant had 18 points for the Hoosiers.

Earlier this week the Hoosiers leaped in the polls to their highest ranking since the 2012-13 season.
