Cummins Inc. unveiled its plans Tuesday to build a 10-story office tower in downtown Indianapolis.
The tower will be home to the company's global distribution business headquarters.
The company says the building will house retail on the first floor, and the plans include a four-acre public greenspace where the now-demolished Market Square Arena stood.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission could vote on the plan as soon as Dec. 17, the company said in a release.
The company says it expects to break ground on the building in early 2015 with an opening in late 2016.
