A cold front is moving into Indiana this evening and is expected to keep temperatures in the 30s for at least the next ten days.
Frigid Canadian air will drop daytime temperatures down into the 30s and nighttime temperatures will hover in the low 20s and maybe teens, according to the National Weather Service.
Snowfall is possible on Sunday and again next week.
National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Ryan says the system is funneling cold air over much of the eastern U.S.
"It looks as we go into next week, there will potentially be an even colder blast of air," he says. "The cold weather is not going anywhere fast anytime soon."
