The Indiana University women's basketball team beat Northwestern University 66-65 last night in the Sweet Sixteen round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament.
The game marked their 21 st victory of this season, tying the school record for most victories per season.The one-point victory came with 11 seconds left in the game, giving the IU women their first and only lead of the night over Northwestern.
They now move on to the quarterfinals of the WNIT at South Dakota State Sunday.
