The Indiana Fever, as the reigning champions of the WNBA, will visit President Obama Friday at the White House.
A ceremony is planned this afternoon outside in the Rose Garden.
Indiana Fever coach Lin Dunn says they are excited about visiting the White House.
"Just a moment of being recognized by the President and being at the White House is just a once in a lifetime for us," Dunn says.
The Fever will also host a basketball clinic for about 50 kids on the South Lawn.
The team will spend a long weekend in the area as it prepares for a Sunday game there against the Mystics.
