Marion, Marshall, and Delaware counties are now among the 23 Indiana counties where cases of swine flu are confirmed. However, the Indiana Department of Health says the total number of statewide cases remains at 138.
Officials say they found some duplication in state lab samples and have made adjustments in the number of county cases. They say counties that now have fewer reported cases include Monroe, with 61. Health officials still have not yet confirmed any person to person transmission of the disease.
Counties with confirmed instances of the disease include: Bartholomew, Delaware, Greene, Hamilton, Hendricks, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Lawrence, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Morgan, Owen, Porter, Scott, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Washington, White, and Whitley.
