Hostess Files For Bankruptcy - 856 Indiana Jobs In Jeopardy

The Hostess Company has filed for bankruptcy which could mean a loss of jobs in Indiana. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January of this year and says it could go out of business soon.

In a notice to the state, Hostess officials say they have been working to restructure their company in order to emerge out of bankruptcy but there is a possibility that some or all of the company‘s 21 factories in Indiana could be closed.

Hostess employs 856 workers in Indiana and says layoffs could begin within 60 days.
