Indy Star To Begin Charging For Online Content

The Indianapolis Star and other community newspapers owned by Gannett will begin charging for online content by the end of the year. The company expects the move will generate an additional $100 million in earnings beginning in 2013. Gannett owns 80 community newspapers. Aside from the star, it also owns the Louisville Courier-Journal.
