Indiana reported 114 new positive COVID-19 cases in long-term care facilities this week.
That brings the total cases among long-term care facility residents close to 5,700.
While the spread of disease has slowed throughout facilities in recent weeks, three new facilities reported their first case and death last week.
More than 1,200 Hoosiers living in long-term care facilities have died from COVID-19. That accounts for nearly half of Indiana’s recorded deaths.

About a third of Indiana facilities have experienced at least one death. The state plans to release facility-level publicly for the first time later this month.
