Indiana State University will require face coverings while indoors on campus starting Wednesday.
Students, faculty and staff will receive two masks from the university.
An email announcement Tuesday said exceptions will apply to private offices, residence halls, while eating and drinking in dining halls and while exercising in sports facilities.
The release noted the action is based on guidance from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
