Another city of Bloomington employee tested positive for COVID-19 Wednesday. The CBU meter services division employee is self-isolating and on paid leave to recover.
A statement from the mayor’s office says the employee was not identified through contact tracing after four other CBU employees’ recent positive cases.
The city says the employee is not in regular contact with the public.
This is the ninth reported city staff COVID-19 diagnosis.
The city is implementing CDC guidelines to prevent further transmission.
