Boaters gathered by the hundreds on Indiana’s largest lake on Saturday to show support for President Donald Trump’s re-election.
A parade of boats decked out with Trump flags departed from the Lake Monroe dam and traveled en masse toward the Cutright State Recreation Area.
Sue Wilson from Plainfield near Indianapolis was on the water with her family.
“The parade was absolutely wonderful, and so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. It really did. It was gorgeous. I loved it,” Wilson said.

Pro-Trump boat parades are taking place across the US over the Labor Day weekend.
In Texas, five boats sank during a nautical parade in support of Trump as tightly packed boats created large waves, officials said Sunday.
Boaters began calling for help “almost immediately” after the procession for Trump’s reelection got underway on a lake west of Austin, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies ultimately responded to 15 distress calls and received three other reports of boats taking on water. No one was injured or killed.
