Monroe County officials on Tuesday identified four family members killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Bloomington over the weekend.
They were identified as Bloomington residents Jeffrey Mumper, 61; Annamarie Greta Mumper, 54; Emma Mumper, 26; and Jakob Mumper, 18.
“Jeffrey was the husband of Annamarie and the father to Emma and Jakob,” Monroe County coroner Joani Shields said in a statement.
Shields said autopsies were scheduled for Wednesday in Terre Haute.
In Bloomington, Captain Ryan Pedigo said investigators had not discovered evidence of a motive in the shootings. But he said officers still believed Jeffrey Mumper shot and killed the other three family members before shooting himself.
Pedigo added that officers discovered each of the three victims in their own bedrooms. Officers found the father’s body in a bathroom, Pedigo said.
Police also removed a dog and a cat from the home, he said. Both were unharmed.

The fatal shootings happened in the early hours of Sunday, Pedigo said.
Officers arrived at the house after a 911 caller reported finding the body of her friend she had come to pick up from the house around 9:30 a.m., he said.
After failing to reach Emma Mumper, the friend had used a key to let herself into the home and discovered Emma Mumper’s body in her bedroom, Pedigo said.
On Monday, the Indiana Swim Club said its members and supporters were “devastated” after the shootings. Jakob Mumper was a senior at Bloomington High School North and had trained with the club, it said in a Facebook post.
“His passing will be felt deeply throughout our club and the Bloomington Swimming community, and our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him,” it said.
Earlier, Mayor John Hamilton said Bloomington was in mourning after the killings.
“The tragic loss of these four fellow Bloomingtonians comes as a horrible shock during an already challenging year when family or private struggles may remain even harder to see than usual,” Hamilton said. “In this devastating moment, let Bloomington come together as one family, and remember we are here to take care of one another.”
