A Monroe County emergency housing service has decked the halls to help families overcome homelessness.
New Hope for Families has partnered with Catalent Biologics for its second Hope for the Holidays tree extravaganza at The Pavilion at Switchyard Park. Free to the public Nov. 17 through Nov. 19, the event features more than 50 trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses, organizations and private citizens that will be auctioned off Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit families affected by homelessness in Monroe County, according to the New Hope for Families website.
The live auction on Nov. 19 will include live entertainment and an array of local food trucks.
While The Pavilion provides exterior walls that can be opened to increase ventilation and adequate space for social distancing, New Hope for Families notes online that attendees must wear masks. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided for those who need them.
