At IU Health’s South Central Region Hospitals, 46 confirmed cases are being treated for COVID-19. An additional 28 people are waiting on test results. This totals 74 people currently being treated at the South Central Region Hospitals. This is up from last week's total, which was 69.

So far, 2,101 staff have been quarantined and 1,979 have returned to work.

IU Health says if a staff member shows symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they are asked to temporarily self-isolate. Then, they are screened through the IU Health's virtual clinic to determine if they meet criteria for a COVID-19 test. If the staff member's test result is negative, they touch base through the virtual clinic again and can return to work after 24 hours without fever and without use of medication. If a staff member tests positive for the virus, they abstain from work for a minimum of a week, starting when symptoms began to 72 hours after being symptom-free.
