A City of Bloomington employee who works at City Hall has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Tuesday afternoon news release.
The employee did not have any close contacts at work or among members of the public.
This brings the number of city employees who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since March to 33.

City spokesperson Yael Ksander said department supervisors have instituted daily temperature checks and are encouraging employees to check themselves for symptoms before coming in to work.
She said many city employees are still working remotely.
As for future COVID-19 prevention and mitigation protocols for city employees, Ksander said there are none yet in the works.
