38 percent of ventilators are currently in use. This is up from last week's 37 percent. The week before that, ventilator usage was at 36 percent.
Numbers for IU Health’s occupied ICU beds is at 80 percent. That's up from last week's 73 percent. The week before, 74 percent of ICU beds were occupied.

At IU Health’s South Central Region Hospitals, 46 confirmed cases are being treated for COVID-19. An additional 17 people are waiting on test results. This totals 63 people currently being treated at the South Central Region Hospitals. This is down from last week's total, which was 74.
585 people have been discharged from IU Health’s South Central Region Hospitals. Last week, that number was 527.
Of the 2,192 IU Health South Central Region staff members who have been tested, 321 of those tests were positive.
So far, 2,221 staff have been quarantined and 2,101 have returned to work.
IU Health says if a staff member shows symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they are asked to temporarily self-isolate. Then, they are screened through the IU Health's virtual clinic to determine if they meet criteria for a COVID-19 test. If the staff member's test result is negative, they touch base through the virtual clinic again and can return to work after 24 hours without fever and without use of medication. If a staff member tests positive for the virus, they abstain from work for a minimum of a week, starting when symptoms began to 72 hours after being symptom-free.
