BPD Employee Is 34th City Worker To Test Positive For Virus

The City of Bloomington announced yesterday that another of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 – this time, a Bloomington Police Department worker.

A news release from the city does not say in what capacity the person works for BPD. However, the city did not identify any close contacts among the employee’s coworkers or the general public.

This person is the 34 th city employee to have tested positive for the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
