A Bloomington Fire Department employee and a Public Works employee have tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the number of Bloomington city workers who have gotten COVID-19 since March to 42.
A news release from the city said a contact tracing process identified no close contacts among the two employees' coworkers or the general public.
Most recently, four BFD employees tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week, but were not determined to have been close contacts of one another nor of the most recent case.
