The City of Bloomington reported one confirmed COVID-19 cases among employees this week.
The city hall employee started to experience symptoms Oct. 5 and received a positive result Oct. 8.
A release from the city said the employee hadn’t been identified as a close contact of any prior confirmed cases among city workers.
No co-workers or members of the public were identified as close contacts of the city hall employee, the release said.
This brings the city’s total number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began to 117.
