BPD make arrest for Monday vandalism at Islamic Center of Bloomington

Bloomington police arrested a man early Thursday morning for the Monday vandalism at the local Islamic Center.

The man arrested is Adam Walls, identified by an officer as a possible suspect after seeing footage of the vandalism, according to a BPD release.

The officer knew Walls from previous responses to calls. The release identified him as transient. 

After the officer’s suggestion that Walls might be the person in the footage, detectives started looking for him so they could conduct an interview.

Officers found him in the early hours of Thursday morning in the 600 block of Walnut Street and interviewed him. Then, they arrested him on a charge of institutional criminal mischief, a Level 6 felony.
