The City of Bloomington reported eight COVID-19 cases among its employees this week.
The city also added one more case to last week’s count – bringing it to twelve. This case was an employee with the Bloomington Fire Department. Last week’s total is the most cases counted in a week since the pandemic began.
The city reported that none of the employees who tested positive this week exposed members of the public while working.
Two of this week’s cases were among Bloomington Fire Department employees. Three came from Bloomington Utilities. One was from the Bloomington Housing Authority, and one was from Parks and Recreation.
