Area nonprofits have received nearly $400,000 in CARES pandemic relief funding from the federal government. Some of the money has gone to fixing up offices and buying new equipment.

Federal student loan borrowers can now apply for President Biden’s one-time loan cancellation program, but in Indiana any relief money will be taxed. Borrowers have until the end of 2023 to apply.

And we sit down with the three candidates looking to succeed Republican Trey Hollingsworth in Indiana’s re-drawn ninth congressional district.
