Sex education, accessible playground, Braun running for governor | Indiana Newsdesk

This week on  Indiana Newsdesk:

Sex education isn’t required teaching in Indiana, so a number of school systems have turned to outside organizations for help. Monroe County schools have partnered with IU Health to start teaching sex ed in the fifth grade.

A group in Washington called Comforting Hearts has come together to build a handicap accessible playground. The group hopes to have the playground completed next summer.

And Senator Mike Braun announced this week he was running for governor. Ahead, we talk with an expert about what that means for the political landscape in the state.
