Council redistricting, 4-H leadership, public art policy | Indiana Newsdesk

Coming up on  Indiana Newsdesk:

Bloomington had to redraw its city council districts after the 2020 census, and that’s led to incumbents being forced to run against each other. The new maps were drawn by an independent commission and passed the council 5-4.

Small, rural communities are having a difficult time turning over 4-H leadership to new generations as kids move away. Indiana’s 4-H program is working to address the problem across the state.

And Bloomington is rewriting its public art requirements after possibly violating one group’s First Amendment rights.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, Friday at 6 on  Indiana Newsdesk.
