Indiana's Mackenzie Holmes finished her career as the Hoosiers' all-time leading scorer.

Senior forward Mackenzie Holmes became the first Indiana women’s player to be named first team All-America by the Associated Press Wednesday.

Holmes averaged 22.3 points and 7.3 rebounds to help lead the Hoosiers to their first Big Ten title since 1983. She was a first team All-Big Ten selection and the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year.

She was joined on the first team by South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, Villanova’s Maddy Siegrist and LSU’s Angel Reese.

Indiana’s Grace Berger was named honorable mention All-America. She averaged 12.5 points, 5.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds this season.

The Hoosiers earned a top-seed in the NCAA Women’s Tournament and will play Saturday morning at home against either Tennessee Tech or Monmouth in the first round.

Indiana was the only team in the country to have first team All-Americans on both the men’s and women’s teams. The Hoosiers’ Trayce Jackson-Davis was named to the men’s team Tuesday.
