The Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division confirms two people were killed in severe storms that hit McCormick’s Creek State Park on Friday night.
The couple has been identified as 53-year-old Brett Kincaid and 47-year-old Wendy Kincaid. The couple was from Rossville, Indiana.
Indiana State Police released photos from McCormick's Creek State Park after Friday night's storm. Found campers were evacuated from the campgrounds with assistance from the Spencer-Owen County School Corporation, who supplied a bus.
A press release from the Indiana State Police said responding Troopers focused on assisting the Owen County Sheriff’s Department, several Owen County Fire Departments, Owen County Emergency Services, and Indiana Conservation Officers.

Responders spent Saturday searching the area, working to confirm everyone from the campground was safe.
Crews were notified that the Kincaid couple was missing and additional responders were dispatched to try to locate them.
The Kincaids were found late Saturday night. The DNR says the incident is under investigation.
McCormick's Creek is closed to overnight guests because of the severe storm damage.
