Bloomington Police said they’ve made an arrest in connection with the burglary of local nonprofit My Sister’s Closet .
Officers found stolen jewelry in the possession of Michael Johnson, a 58-year-old man experiencing homelessness. Employees confirmed it was the merchandise taken during the burglary.

Johnson was arrested around 1:30 Friday afternoon and booked in the county jail.
My Sister's Closet director of operations Erin McAlister said the store recovered six items from TomCats Pawn Inc., and police found another four pieces and a single earring on Johnson's person.
The stolen handbags, jewelry magnification camera and remaining jewelry are still missing.
He’s been charged with burglary, fraud on a financial institution and theft.
According to My Sister’s Closet director Sandy Keller, damages and lost property amounted to over $50 thousand.
