Greene County man dies in Westville jail

A new prison will replace the current Westville and Michigan City prisons, making it the larger in the state.
A new prison will replace the current Westville and Michigan City prisons, making it the larger in the state.

Indiana State Police are pursuing a criminal investigation after an inmate died at the Westville Correctional Facility. Prison staff found the inmate dead at 8 a.m. Tuesday. An autopsy determined that John Taylor, 35, from Solsberry, Indiana, died from blunt force trauma. Taylor was serving a sentence for felony convictions.
