Monroe County Surveyor Trohn Enright-Randolph (D) is running for reelection this year.
Enright-Randolph is on his second term, having served in the role since 2016. He also served as chief deputy surveyor from 2005 to 2016.
To date, he is the only candidate running for the surveyor’s seat.

Enright-Randolph said he has the institutional knowledge and skills to lead the surveyor's office effectively.
"As county surveyor, I have dedicated myself to professionalizing the office and providing a higher level of service to the community," Enright-Randolph wrote in an email. "I am committed to improving our services and would be honored to continue serving the citizens of Monroe County."
The surveyor’s duties include the following:
- Maintaining a record of property boundary surveys and subdivision plans
- Coordinating Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Managing the construction, reconstruction, vacation, removal and maintenance of regulated drains
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of waters in the county
- Working with developers and community officials to help guide development processes and review plans

Enright-Randolph said his priorities include providing a higher standard of information about legal survey records, continuing to stay on top of new technology and methods, striving to improve internal operations and expand the accessibility of information, and helping county government and other stakeholders achieve their goals while generating cost savings and improving collaboration between local and state officials.
Enright-Randolph is the nephew of former county surveyor Kevin Enright.
