UPDATE: Tornado watch in effect until midnight

UPDATE: 5:20 p.m.

More severe weather is expected tonight after a line of thunderstorms rolled through south central Indiana today.

Local storm reports include wind damage in Martinsville and hail up to almost an inch near Terre Haute, Ellettsville, and Zionsville.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service say the best chance for severe weather potential will be between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. 

A tornado watch is in effect for most of state until midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, and flooding are possible.

Highs today should reach to the lower 70s then drop to the upper 50s by tomorrow. Sunny conditions return Saturday with a high of 60.
