A portion of State Road 45 southwest of Bloomington is scheduled to close June 24.
Ragle Inc., an Indiana Dept. of Transportation contractor, plans to work on the bridge for ten weeks. If weather permits, that portion of the street will reopen at the beginning of August.
A detour route will take motorists to SR 445, then to I-69, and then back onto SR 45.
This project is part of a $3.2 million contract awarded to Ragle last July. INDOT oversees the maintenance of more than 5,700 bridges in the state.
