Marijuana reclassification, McCormick's Creek recovery, Habitat for Humanity houses | Indiana Newsdesk

The federal government has moved to reclassify marijuana, but that won’t likely make a difference soon in Indiana, where it remains illegal. But one veterans group hopes the move opens the door for medical cannabis use.

A little more than a year after a tornado tore through McCormick’s Creek State Park, much of the park remains off-limits. But this week, the park announced Trails 2 and 3 have been re-opened.

And, this month, Habitat for Humanity in Evansville dedicated its 600th home built in the city.
